Established in 2015, Maven Business Consulting is a boutique consulting firm created to service black entrepreneurs everywhere. Although, our target may be black entrepreneurs, we provide world-class service to any business owner or entrepreneur regardless of race.
According to the Federal Reserve, the nation’s White households had $124.5 trillion in assets as compared to all Black households had under $8 trillion in total assets. I polled 200 black people and only 2 of them owned commercial real estate properties. Out of the 198 that did not own real estate 40% of them expressed interest in investing in some type of real estate asset. With only 3% of black households owning commercial real estate, we would like to see that increase from 3% to 5% over the next 10 years.
To achieve this undertaking, we plan to host conferences throughout the United States to help black entrepreneurs gain the knowledge and confidence to begin investing in commercial real estate. By the end of year 2023, we will provide training and resources to 3000-5000 minority business owners in the Southeastern region including the Atlanta market. By year end we will help 5% of the attendees purchase commercial properties to begin their journey of building generational wealth.
